Workshops can take place as after school clubs, half or full day weekly sessions or one off fun days working with entire year groups / entire schools. Club Creative uses the best local creative professionals to guarantee a quality learning experience. We are completely flexible and design each project to suit the needs of the school. We can work with any age range and ability (we are experienced at working with special needs groups) and can tailor projects to suit your budget.

Once the designs were complete Kirklevington Prison were able to fabricate the 10 and 8 foot high sculptures using their fabrication facilities. The project had added value when a group of prisoners and staff from Kirklevington came out last week to install the sculpture in the grounds of East Coast Training’s De Bruce Centre and to talk to the young people involved with the project. The unveiling took place on Tuesday 21 Feb and was attended by around fifty guests including the young people, the Mayor of Redcar & Cleveland, local press and local councillors.

A second project with another group of young people resulted in the creation of mosaic stepping stones which have been installed in the ground leading up to to the steel sculptures. Pictures to follow.

The young people have been on a journey throughout this project, learning about their heritage & local history, learning new creative and communication skills and improving their ability to work as a team. The project was also designed to link in and contribute to their existing learning programme

This has been a fantastic project to be involved with and we look forward to working with East Coast Training in the near future.

The students across all areas of the school have enjoyed a vast range of Art, ICT, Film and Dance opportunities , and the school community celebrate their achievements with a special event., on Wednesday 23rd November 2011 .

We invited all parents of Secondary and 6^th Form students to our afternoon Cinematic showing of the best of our Arts College work from the last three years, along with Governors and Friends of the school, including ex-students. .

Kiltonthorpe Film-maker and Animators Adam Reamswood and Ben Hopkinson presented an impressive show, supported by Lauren Henderson, Arts Facilitator.

The 40 minute programme of film clips, movies, animations and videos of activities, followed a packed morning where students attended workshops within school. Classes ranged from Physical Theatre and Stage combat , Circus skills, Photography, Drumming, Batik, Textiles, Art and Craft, Multi-sensory experience with Head massage and Face Painting.

It was a fabulous day, being able to share our successes with the students, staff, artists and practitioners who have featured highly in our Arts Programmes, over the years.

The event was planned by Director of Specialism, Kate Watson and organised by Neil Walker of Club Creative, (neil@club-creative.co.uk) with his team of student Event organisers.

Club Creative takes pride in being flexible, responsive and non-prescriptive. We work in partnership with schools and pupils to create bespoke projects. We can work with all ages and abilities from small groups of students to entire year groups

We can work across the curriculum to create projects that raise attainment, improve literacy and numeracy, train teachers and deliver a whole school approach to creative learning.

TASC supports adults with all manner and level of learning disability, autism and profound physical disability. They provide a welcoming, supportive environment with a fantastic range of activities and excellent facilities and support staff. In a recent member survey the desire to try drama workshops came out top and we are very excited about starting sessions. Drama can improve concentration and communication skills, boost confidence and of course is loads of fun!

We have years of experience designing learning programmes for those students who for a variety of reasons are not engaging with the school curriculum. Often with a strong Enterprise focus, we will teach students new creative skills whilst working towards a final exhibition, performance or even selling their produce at market to the general public.

The results have been astonishing with students surprising their teachers, support workers and parents with their focus and commitment. We have noticed a marked improvement in concentration, communication skills and confidence in the students.

Our Alternative Provision programmes are designed first and foremost to engage students with creative learning. We can also work with the school to fit the programme into existing qualification frameworks.
